Martin Boroson

Martin brings his experience as a speaker, consultant, author, and coach committed to helping high-performers tap the deep potential of present-moment awareness for resilience and innovation. As the creator of One-Moment Meditation®, he has helped hundreds of thousands of people reduce stress and experience the benefits of focused attention.

Martin’s concentrated approach to training is a distillation of many years of personal transformation and study. He combines his experience as an activist with years of study of Western and Eastern philosophy, the arts, and management science as well as training in the facilitation of breakthrough experience with the co-founder of transpersonal psychology, Dr. Stanislav Grof. Martin became an accredited member of the European Association of Psychotherapy and provided support to people recovering from severe trauma and facilitated numerous breathwork retreats designed to catalyze profound transformation safely.

Martin is the author of One-Moment Meditation: Stillness for People on the Go, now available in twelve languages, and of Becoming Me, a philosophical children’s book endorsed by scientists, psychologists, and leaders of many different faiths. His short-animated film How to Meditate in a Moment has been viewed by over one million people. In Ireland, Martin created the National Moment of Stillness, in which thousands of people stopped work, all over the country, to experience thirty seconds of total silence, live on national radio. He created The Temenos Project, an experimental theatre company funded by the Irish Arts Council to boost innovation in the arts.

Martin studied Western philosophy at Yale as an undergrad and earned his MBA from the Yale School of Management. He is a student of depth psychology, breathwork, Zen meditation, and the arts.
